What if you put in a pot an aggressive funk attitude with some crunchy riff action, a high dose of mind tripping power grooves, followed by non-stop headbanging energy? A pretty tasty dish of Horta Project. This progressive power rock trio is Rodrigo Vegetal on guitar, Lucas Cuesta on bass and Tiago Palma on drums. Together they released their latest album “Anatomy of Sound” along with a live perfomance concert that is available full on their youtube channel. Their powerful songs take you on a journey from hard-hitting-fist-pumping hits like “Hammer Sky” to heavy mantras such as “Pulse”, as well as more transcendental tracks like “Soya Bean”. Their latest big venture was playing 5 shows at Indie Week Festival 2017 and coming back to Brazil to play a series of shows in São Paulo and Brasília, their hometown. The band is currently working on their second album and have names like David Bottrill (Tool, Dream Theater, Silverchair, Smashing Pumpkins) in the works for the production.
